I walked passing the WWII grave yard and there was this man doing the stones and ground nice, so I could walk in. He and two other men told me about it, the first lane was white men, some of them doctors etc - interesting! I walked again and was passing the stadium, and there was an ongoing soccer game - at 10 in the morning!!! Then it was time for the morning coffee at Source Café. Nice.
I walked again down to the river and passed an area with very por people and the fact is - when you have nothing, you don't have to lock your door - compared with those who have, they have fences and walls and guardes!
I had lunch at a luxery resort, chicken burger with avocado, very nice. I saw the harbor of the river on my way back!
A banana smoothie as dessert in town was good. Then I walked back to the Hotel, and had a short rest, before going out to the Rotary Meeting. It was Jinja RC that were Meeting. Some 50 members present. It was a talk about hospies care in the area and a Danish retired doctor were working with it!
We had some drinks and they served peanuts. It was an interesting Meeting and afterwords I walked home in the totally dark African evening, no street lights, only the cars lights.
Back at the Hotel I had a Nile beer and then went to bed. Good night!
The Jinja stadium! Soccer game in the morning!!!
Ones you own somthing you start protecting yourself !
